Sumatran Problems

In this video, the Sumatran adventure at the end of September makes a dramatic and painful shift.  I admit to making some mistakes, namely, going trekking through a mountainous jungle five days after minor back surgery was not a good idea.

  1. I truly feel badly for you, for I've had many surgeries and understand how awful pain is. Although I must say that I'm surprised you could even travel at all, so soon after surgery. I'm praying that God will heal you, and take away your pain. Blessings, Lynn

  2. So sorry to hear this. The only thing you can do now is rest as much as possible. Of course you have to work, but try to rest. More cortizone shots will not help in the long run, so think crefully about getting them so often. In the US they are very limited in number per year.

You admit hiking was stupid. Please be careful about perscription drugs for pain.

    1. In the couple weeks since the re-injury, it hasn't gotten better, so it looks like I'll be going to Bangkok next month for further surgery.
