Cultivating Novelty

Hey folks! Joko here, your senior Myanmar correspondent at Ajarn.com. It's approaching one year since I left The Land of Smiles for the wild, final frontier of TESOL in SE Asia, and, as anniversaries often make one feel, I find myself more and more contemplative as the date approaches.

  1. Traveling to new places at our own pace is what or new lifestyle is all about. The people we meet speak English, but sometime their accents are interesting. You may enjoy seeing new temples, we see new hiking paths and grocery stores.

    Re rats overhead. Get your own traps. Peanut butter works well. Your landlord might just ask them to leave. I became a rat and mouse expert on Old Ranch Road after the cat was gone.
